Summer of '09 - Part One

Well, it's been all summer and I haven't posted once. I'll try to be better.

We had a great summer, busy! After school was out we make two trips to SA.


Memorial day weekend I helped host a baby shower for my SIL, Christina. (Picture to the left is me, Scott's wife, Mindy, Christina, and Ann Marie, Christina's sister.)





It was great to see all the preparations my brother, Forrest, and Christina were making for their first child.

Later that weekend Forrest swam, biked, and ran his first triathlon. He finished! We were so proud (and slightly surprised). We spent the rest of Memorial Day at Christina's parents house on the lake.

Second trip was in the middle of June. Mike and I were able to attend my brother Scott's graduation from residency. Whoop!

We had Father's Day breakfast with my dad and dinner with Mike's dad in The Woodlands.
